As you’ve been playing SimCity Social, you may have noticed a small icon on the right side of the screen advertising the UFO Mystery Gift. If you haven’t taken a look at this minigame, perhaps you should.
For a limited time, you can wager a few diamonds to win some high-cost buildings for much less than their going rate.
When you click on the UFO Mystery Gift icon on the right side of the game, you are welcomed by this landing page.
UFO Mystery Gift Prizes
When you play this minigame, you stand to win one or more of the following rare buildings:
- Mount Olympus
- The Grand Casino
- Luxury Shopping Mall
- Chateau Grapevine
As you can see from the page, these are pretty expensive buildings. Even the cheapest one costs a whopping 75 diamonds.
How to Play
Just click the red button — yes, that one with the arrows pointing at it. Then another page pops up asking how many diamonds you want to spend.
On the cheap end, you can spend 15 diamonds and get one item. For 75 diamonds, you get 6 items, and for 150 diamonds, you get 13 items.
There were only four buildings listed on the first landing page, so what in the world are the other ones?
Will you get multiples of the same rare items? Or are there other rare items that aren’t advertised on the main page? Or could you wind up getting a bunch of non-rare buildings?
There’s no way to tell from the game itself what is on the other side of that big red button. But the good thing about the SimCity Social Blog community is that we can learn from each other.
